Hello folks, I found you quite by accident in Google earth while trying to see The Great Pacific Garbage Patch for my self. The virus that infects this planet is a vile and insidious one indeed. Unfortunately that virus is us. I do not believe that any of us that have not seen it can believe the immensity and gravity of the problem. My question is, what can we do to help save ourselves? I live in the Arizona desert in the U.S.A. but I have been to the oceans on both of this country and would some day like my great grand kids to be able to enjoy the vastness and variety of the oceans. Thank you for your time and effort in the research that you do.
I found this website by accident as well and would just like to thank all the vessels involved in this project for the work you are doing. Kudos to all of you. It is a VERY necessary workload you have.
Many wishes for success in all your projects. I will be checking out your map of vessels often.

I loved the articles i learned s much. But i was wondering how many species of fish you have seen?
Thanks for being witnesses to the sadness of trash, and bringing it to everyone's attention.
I post a lot about you on my facebook page, and try to inform as many people as possible. Again, thanks.
